SCG Crafts: CLOTHES LOOK GREAT ON BELLY-BUTTON DOLLS!

I LUV wide leg pants with side slits.

With this pant set I experimented with using stickers

and covering them with iron-on adhesive.

I liked the idea but was not very pleased with the look

but will try an all-over application of the vinyl instead.

Doing so should work well.

Below is an Asian-inspired dress
of my own design.

The dress has a high neck,
a sheer blue ribbon tie in a bow
at the waist and in her hair,
and the dress has a metallic-trimmed
lime green shawl.

Hello, Everyone!

Another beautiful lady also wanted a set of hangers.

For her, I chose the colors black and magenta

with black and grey brocade which was perfect

for the ruffle binding.

I used the EuroPro's honeycomb stitch to border the ruffles.

These hangers took forever to make, but the response

from the customer was priceless

and made the aggravation worthwhile.

GIRL'S PHOTO AND CELL PHONE POCKET BAG WITH APPLIQUE

Below is the second of two bags I sent to my mother in Carolina.

This one has more features, including a photo pocket,

cell phone pocket, and an inner zippered pocket.

The lining was pink, white and lavender
machine stitching on black.

SCG: DRAWSTRING STUFF BAG WITH SIDE POCKETS

I made this large Stuff Bag for 2 customers.
It has a gorgeous golden brown
India-made fabric lining
from which the drawstring is made.

The first customer was a 20-something male
who gave it to his girlfriend.

She turned the top down and put potpourri in it.

Then I made one for a lovely businesswomen who wanted
something special to take with her when she went traveling.

GIRL'S FLOWER APPLIQUE BAG WITH RIBBON TRIM

Here is a purse made for girls. The bag has terry-like shaggy fabric with ribbon trim

and flower appliques (bag is my design and the appliques are a basic flower shape).

It has a self-fabric shoulder strap and is lined with pockets.

Took forever to make but I love the results!

HANDBAG WITH STENCILED & HAND-PAINTED DRAGONFLIES

I loved the fabric even though it frayed a lot.

The dragonflies were stenciled with additional colors painted on.

It took over six hours to paint the front and back panels.

Inside are two pockets to accommodate a cell phone

and a brush or comb.
